Entertainment Groups

The Somborne Players perform plays and pantomime in the Village Hall.

The Somborne Singers meet most Tuesdays at 7.45 in the Parish Church.

King's Somborne has its own cinema productions MOVIOLA - Movies in Kings Somborne once per month at the Village Hall

The Village Hall Social Committee organises several functions throughout the year.  

Activities

There are monthly Footpath Walks starting from the Village Hall, and extending in a circular walk of about 5 miles.

Recreation

There is a Trim Trail around the site of the John O' Gaunt Palace just behind the school.

The Recreation Ground, up a short lane from the Romsey Road, provides the following:

  • Football Field
  • Cricket Field
  • Junior Football Field
  • Skateboarding
  • Swings and Slides

At the edge of the recreation ground we have the Village Hall and Scout Hut

Meeting Places

The Epworth Hall is attached to the Methodist Church in Winchester Road, and is available for meetings and children's parties.

The Scout Hut is normally reserved for scouting activities.

The Village Hall is available both for meetings and larger parties.

The Working Mens Club is situated in Winchester Road.
