The Somborne Players are a friendly group who meet regularly for various activities. During the year we have informal play readings, socials, outings and theatrical workshops and twice a year we put on play and panto performances in the Village Hall.
The group consists of people interested in all areas of the theatre and there are opportunities for new members to get involved backstage or on stage for performances or to join us for the events. We welcome both adults and children who are interested in amateur dramatics.
If you enjoy acting, singing, dancing, playing music or want to learn more about lighting, sound, stage management, or want to try your hand at directing, makeup, painting scenery or think you would enjoy any of the activities the Players are involved in, then please get in touch or come along to the next event.
Auditions for our 2024 Panto "Babes in the Wood" have taken place and the Panto has been cast. Performance dates are Friday 16 February 2024 and Saturday 17 February 2024.
Our AGM will take place at the Epworth Hall on Wed 8 Nov 23 at 7:30pm - before that evening's rehearsal.
