Monthly Footpath Walks
Monthly walk on Parish footpaths on the last Sunday of each month. Starting at 2.00pm at the Village Hall Car Park.

Monthly walks are now back on again following the de-restrictions.

Sunday 24th April 2:00 pm King’s Somborne Village
6¾ miles (10¾ Km) 2¾ hours
Bluebell Walk
We head out from the village along Winchester Road and up Red Hill. We follow the Clarendon Way past Hoplands then turn right along the bridleway through Luke Copse. At the end of the wood, we turn right at the T‑junction and then right again along the byway through Parnholt Wood. Then along Combe Bottom and Garlick Lane before taking the paths along the field edges back to Palace Field and the Village Hall.
Sunday 29th May
2:00 pm King’s Somborne Village Hall
7 miles (11 Km) 2¾ hours
We leave the village on the footpath to Horsebridge where we join the Test Way and head south to Lower Brook. We cross the A3057 and take the steep path up the hill (with a steel handrail). We cross the fields then turn east up to Michelmersh. At Michelmersh we turn left on to the road for a few metres and follow the path where the road ends. We pass through some woods and on reaching a farm track we turn left. We follow the track past Lower Eldon Farm and through Humbers Wood back to the village.
