Neighbourcare is a voluntary organisation that provides transport to doctors, hospital and dentists to those needing such transport. Volunteers are always wanted!
In an emergency, Community Responders will provide emergency assistance until professional help arrives. The service is actioned by a call to the 999 emergency services, but volunteers are always wanted.
NHS Health Services
The Doctor's Surgery» providing service to the Sombornes is in Stockbridge, with a second surgery at Broughton. Telephone 01264 810524.
County Hospitals» include the Royal Hampshire County Hospital» at Winchester, the Andover War Memorial Hospital» and Southampton General»
Pharmeceutical services are provided both from Stockbridge Pharmacy (01264 810624) and the Doctors Surgery. There are facilities to have your prescriptions picked up and delivered from the Cross Stores in the village. Contact the pharmacy in Stockbridge for details.
