The Sombornes Neighbourcare service provides transport to essential appointments. A nominal fee is charged to cover petrol costs for our drivers. The service normally covers appointments at local doctor's surgeries, hospitals (Winchester, Andover, Southampton), and dentists, for those without access to transport. The service is provided by local people on a voluntary basis. Volunteers to assist are always welcome, and will generally be called upon to assist at intervals of approximately once per month.
