| Control of Dogs
Now that the lambing season is upon us, please can we remind all dog owners to keep their dogs under control at all times. We usually see a rise in dog attacks on sheep at this time of year, theses incidents are easily avoided but can cause immense distress and suffering when they happen. Farmers have a right to shoot a dog that is found in the act of attacking livestock…. Don’t let it be your dog!
With spring well on its way we all start thinking about all the jobs in the garden that need doing, such as hedge trimming and tidying, please remember that birds with be nesting at this time of year, be on the look out for their nests and try to avoid disturbing them. |
