The bulletin contains details of a variety of crime and general information from around the country plus photographs which take up a lot of memory. Some readers computers cannot cope hence the reason inviting you to visit the below sites to view and read the bulletin.
Note in the bulletin - 2 recent stolen Horse Trailers from Hampshire plus another carriage also from Hampshire. Also the more recent stolen horses are once again repeated on the basis of "out of sight out of mind"…….Through the bulletin their continued loss will brought to your attention.
Most unusually we have had 4 horses belonging to the same owner stolen from a field in Botley, near Southampton. We do not have photographs of these horses but their descriptions are provided.
Where you can go to read the Bulletin:-
· Hampshire Horsewatch web site www.nfed.co.uk/hampshirehorsewatch
· UK Horsewatch Alliance web site www.ukhorsewatch.org.uk
If you don’t see the bulletin on the Alliance site go to the nfed site
Please note the stolen horse information.
Auctioneers, Sales…please question the legitimacy of ownership of horses being offered for sale especially from those individuals not known or where horse passports are not available (although we know horse passports are not proof of ownership). Auctioneers are you scanning horses for microchips that come into your sales rings?
Passport Issuing Offices: Are you checking new applications against the list of stolen horses as circulated? Do you visit the stolen horse register www.stolenhorsgerister.com?
Please note the continual incidents around the country of tack theft which includes several large value losses. This suggests the work of organised crime groups.
