Theft from motor vehicles at beauty spot car parks
With the warmer weather we are having at the moment we are seeing a rise in thefts from motor vehicles at beauty spot car parks where people are leaving their cars to go and enjoy the sunshine. Officers are patrolling these areas but cannot be there at all times. Many of the reports we receive are for property being stolen from cars that the owner had hidden under seats or in the boot of the car. Criminals know people do this, so please do not think this will protect your property, take you valuables with you, or leave them at home. Please report any suspicious activity via the Police 101 number. |
