| TVBC Core StrategyAs I reported at the Community Workshop the Core Strategy was released by the Cabinet for consultation and now that decision has been ratified by the full Council. The document is big but well worth a read as I was only able to cover a few key issues at the Workshop. You can now find the document on the TVBC web site.Web SiteA number of people have asked me about my web site. This can be found at http://www.cllrtward.com and you can register to receive e-mail updates as I make them. I try to include borough and county news where it has a relevance to King’s Somborne, Michelmersh & Timsbury. It is the easiest way to keep up to date and you can always unsubscribe at any time.Mobile LibraryI have had some positive feedback about the new extended hours for the library but if we want more improvements like a second location it is very important we use the library as much as possible.Bottle BanksIn response to the petition from nearly 300 people in the community we believe locating the bottle banks in an enclosure alongside the cricket hut will keep the facility in the recreation ground area and overcome noise issues. TVBC are raising the necessary planning applications and Fields in Trust who own the recreation ground have given their permission. Everyone will have an opportunity to either express support or object to this proposal through the planning process and I can advise on how to do this once the applications are in. |
