After the excitement of our Centenary Tea Party in February, it would have been understandable if our March meeting, held on Wednesday, 13 March, felt a bit flat. Happily, however, this was not the case. There was a large turnout for what proved to be an excellent presentation by Ann Henderson, who is a Specialist Physiotherapist in Women's Health. Her talk was an informative and pragmatic review of many of the problems which women encounter throughout their life cycle with suggestions for strategies and exercises to remedy them. She used excellent visual aids enlivened by the odd cartoon. She was thanked by Frances Shone for a very helpful and entertaining presentation.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, 10 April, at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, when Anna Powell will talk to us about “Cognitive Behaviour Therapy” All are welcome.
