What personal data we collect
The Somborne & District Society collects personal data from its members comprising name, address, email address and telephone number. Occasionally other personal data may be collected from sources such as attendance lists at events, documentation of personal achievement and publication awards, and records of sales including publications.
What we will do with the data
The Society will use this data to send members its quarterly Newsletter, and managing events and meetings.
We may also use it to send you mailings relating to news. We may also use your information for data analysis so that we can monitor membership numbers and location. We do not share your data with other organisations.
How we will store the data
The Society will store your data on a database held by our membership secretary and used in accordance
with the Society’s data protection policy.
Historical Data
The Society may also hold historical data for its historical research purposes.
